The Portuguese company Pukaca was founded in 2005 by designers Isabel Vaz & Nuno Dias, who design and manufacture unique paper toys for children without any plastic. All paper toys are made with only 100% recycled paper and 100% recycled fibers with ink and are packaged in a 100% recycled paper envelope.
Paper toys are meant to be made with hands, the child will cut, fold and glue in order to reach the final result, thus increasing motor skill and spatial awareness.
